I've decided to hold my first public event based on the constant inbox messages I get from people asking questions about primarily my Deathworker/Death Doula journey; but also every other question you can imagine under the sun about the experience of this work. As well as questions about the death journey as I've experienced it, witnessed it, and extensively learned about it - and continue to daily (both professionally and recreationally).
I find that often Death Cafes turn into 'ask the expert,' which is not the intent of those events. So I wanted to hold space to answer your questions. I'm not much for writing, so sometimes it's challenging for me to get back to your emails and answer your questions in written form, but there's nothing I love more than a good conversation.
SO: I invite you to join me virtually on Wednesday June 3rd at 7 p.m. for an 'ASK THE GOOD DEATH DOULA' session.
I obviously can't promise to be able to answer all of your questions, but I'm almost certain I'll be able to direct you to the right resources for your needs when I can't, or at least be able to research them for you after the fact.
